In September 2016, local arts organizers and photographers produced the inaugural 4x5 Photo Fest in San Antonio, Texas. This free one-day event consisted of a full-day of artist talks and workshops with top editorial and commercial art directors, documentary, commercial and new art photographers and photo editors from across the nation.

MISSION

4x5 Photo Fest’s mission is focused on building intentional community by connecting, educating, encouraging, and inspiring others. 4x5 Photo Fest welcomes all photographers - new and experienced - to unleash their creativity and enhance their network.

Here's what people are saying about 4x5 Photo Fest:

"I was very impressed with the talent brought in for speakers and panelists. The branding and all day events kept it interesting and engaging!"
"This event was very well organized, and I wish I could've stayed for the photo walk. I am new to the photography "scene" and felt very welcomed among the other event goers, and the different photographers/groups that had booths set-up. I'm super psyched about next year!"
"I thought it was well organized and it was most welcoming. It was fantastic to see the mixture of young and old, professional and fan, with one common interest-- amazing photography. The panels were well conceived also and I loved getting to check out the Lomography cameras too!"

"I loved that the event was accessible to photographers of all levels... whether you were a novice or a pro their was something you could relate to and take away from this event."
