Four X Five Photo Fest is a free one-day photography festival offering talks and workshops with top photographers and editorial and commercial art directors from across the nation. Four X Five Photo Fest continues to provide exciting & inspiring events for the photography community.



Four X Five Photo Fest’s is focused on building intentional community by connecting, educating, encouraging and inspiring others. We welcome all photographers - new and experienced - to unleash their creativity and enhance their network.

Four X Five Photo Fest consists of a full day of inspiring photography keynotes & workshops geared towards professional photographers, enthusiasts, and the creative class. Whether you're a freelancer, seasoned professional, intern, emerging photographer or business owner looking to connect with photographers - Four X Five Photo Fest is an experience you don't wanna miss out on.

Four X Five Collective



Four X Five Collective consists of husband and wife, Shannon and Scott Ball, brother and sister duo Josh and Jillian Huskin, who founded 4x5 Photo Fest in 2016. Scott Ball is a Photo Editor, Photojournalist, and Documentary Photographer based in San Antonio Texas. Shannon Gowen Ball is Chief Marketing Officer for a national social services non-profit organization and visual artist. Josh Huskin is an Editorial and Advertising Photographer living in San Antonio, Texas. Josh's work has been published nationally as well as being featured on 50+ covers of regional magazines. Jillian Huskin is the newest member of the collective, but has played an integral role leading our volunteer teams since the beginning. Jillian graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio with a degree in Non-Profit Management.

Suhail Arastu


Suhail Arastu was raised in San Antonio, Texas and studied Neurobiology & Classics at The University of California, Berkeley where he competed as an NCAA Gymnast. In Philadelphia he began graduate studies before moving to a small Japanese mountain village for a year of contemplation, deep sea fishing, hiking, skiing and teaching. He then travelled the world by ship under the auspices of the United Nations Economic & Social Council before returning home in 2008. Suhail works in Institutional Advancement for Musical Bridges Around the World, a non-profit performing arts company charged to unite, educate and inspire through culturally diverse visual and performing arts. He served two terms as a Trustee of The Mind Science Foundation, one term on the Board of Directors of Gemini Ink and is the Arts & Culture Chair for Anuja San Antonio - the organization managing San Antonio’s Sister City Relations with Chennai, India. Suhail is the Mayor's appointee to the Public Art Commission and enjoys serving on the Board of Directors of Constitution Cafe & The Lone Star Art Alliance. He was elected to the 40th Class of Leadership San Antonio and completed a Marshall Memorial Fellowship in Spring of 2018; in August of the same year he was appointed to serve on the Board of Sister Cities International, a Washington DC based organization that grew out of the League of Cities under President Eisenhower. He leads Yoga privately and at Yoga in Motion. A collection of Suhail’s photographs from seven continents was shown at PechaKucha Volume 5. Suhail has been Four X Five Photo Fest Emcee since 2016.
